Drawer Pull Jewelry Organizer

I know there are millions of ideas floating around out there about organizing your jewelry, and all of them are fabulous, so I thought I would share one of mine (hopefully its just as fabulous):

Drawer Pull Jewelry Organizer
I made this using plywood, burlap, staples, ribbon and some wonderful drawer pulls/knobs.

First, I sawed the plywood to my desired size (be careful doing this, or you can just have the nice guys at the home depot cut it for you)
Then I cut the burlap to size and stapled it to the back folding it down like I was wrapping a present.

Then I measured where I wanted the pulls, drilled holes where they would go, then screwed in the screws and attached the pulls/knobs.
I also stapled some decorative ribbon across the top and used some more to hang the piece:
And here's the final product sans the jewelry.

The ribbon also functions as a place to clip on flowers for your hair. Oh, and its also pretty :)

I used the knobs to hang my necklaces/bracelets and used the drawer pulls to hang my earrings.

This project only took me an hour to do and the cost was under $10. Of course depending upon the pulls/knobs, it can get more expensive. I found these knobs and pulls for about $1 a piece at Home Depot.

  18. I am SO in love with this!!!
I am been searching for a way to organize my 14 year old's jewelry.
I am on my way to home depot right now!!
Since she likes the long necklaces I think I am going to switch the pulls for the knobs in location on it.
