This Christmas I wanted to go with a real neutral theme for the presents. I did this somewhat last year...but then once Christmas got closer and closer that mostly went out the door :) Plus I wanted to do something really simple and somewhat organic this year.
To accomplish this, I ended up wrapping all the presents in craft paper. I got these at the dollar store and they have about 50 square feet on the roll. I've wrapped all the presents so far just using about two.
As for the 'ribbon', I kept it simple and used some cream colored yarn.
I used a mixture of felt, fabric, sparkly snowflakes and fake flowers for the decorations.
I just hot glued a clip onto this flower and clipped it on the yarn. Easy Peasy.
I rolled some felt to make these flowers and then just hot glued them right to the package.
Just hot glued the snowflakes onto the package too.
I love the sparkler mixed with the more natural elements.
On this one, I just rolled some fabric onto a circle of felt, glued some tulle to the back and beads to the front!
Can I just say how much I love wrapping presents? Its too bad people have to open them....haha just kidding. :) So, I have a ton more presents to wrap, have any fun ideas??

ReplyDeleteI'm using kraft paper and string, too! Paper medallions and wax seals, though, instead of posies and snowflakes.
ReplyDeleteLove it! Every year, I think I should do a different wrapping theme each year. The problem is, I have had the same rolls of wrapping paper for two years!! I seriously can't use them up.
