I'm so excited to show you this house today. I have dreams about this house, that's how awesome it is. Well, dreams about the dining room. It's just amazing. I hope you are prepared to get your mind blown. Well, not quite...but it is quite the bold house full of pattern and navy blue and pink accents.
Let's start in the living room shall we?
Check out these patterns! The patterns in the curtains, chairs, pillows. It's just crazy but completely works. These bookshelves are awesome. I love how they are lined on the inside with black paint. It really makes it pop.
I love this balcony, I have one similar in my house, but this one is twice as big and twice as amazing.
Here's the eat in part of the kitchen. I'm not sure about the chairs, they just seem too casual for me, but it goes with the theme of the house.
And the kitchen. Need I say more? It is just so big! Like amazingly big. I think that island is the size of a double bed.
And these chairs are awesome and so cute! And yes, that would be a pink roman shade in that window...oh, and a pink kitchenaid mixer :)
Okay. Get ready for this. The formal dining room. I don't have to say anything about this, it is just so amazing on it's own:
Next to the dining room is this wonderful walk through butlers pantry.
Back through the kitchen, there's a perfect little area for a mudroom. These cabinets are so perfect in here.
And the guest bathroom. Yes, this is pink. And check out that ceiling.
Now for the master bedroom. Pink and blue and pattern galore!
This armoire is just amazing and who wouldn't want a fireplace in their master?
I'm loving this tile in the master bathroom.
Here's the loft area on the second floor. I really like the use of this space; most people would usually expect to see another living room, but they chose to do a little homework type area.
Now for the laundry room. Those stripes are just crazy! ...but great!
Here's one of the bedrooms decorated perfectly for little boys with a dinosaur theme.
This is also a great way to show how to include art in your decor and make sure you put it low to blend in with the rest of the vignette.
This room just speaks for itself. The use of pattern is amazing and goes together so perfectly.
Here's another one of the bedrooms:
This little nook is so perfect. I love that chair!
Well, what did you think? Bold is somewhat of an understatement here. They designed this so beautifully and sure took some risks that totally worked out :)

Wow, bold is right! Not all of it is my style, but I love that they took so many risks and I loved the pattern mixing. My favourite is the chairs in the family room with the bead-style wood detail. They look like they were thrifted, painted and recovered - very near and dear to my heart!
ReplyDeleteI am in love with that duvet in the last bedroom. Any idea where it's from?? That chair...swoon!!
ReplyDeleteI love muted tones but interestingly, I found the boldness of these rooms very appealing ...
