So, when I came across this bar stool on sale at Hobby Lobby for $16, I jumped for the opportunity to stuff it in my car (along with 4 other tables...but we won't get into that :) ). I knew it would make a great repurposed project...and look wonderful in the guest room.
This was a simple project; all I had to do was paint and string some rope around the foot rests.
The rope is to make an additional shelf. I was going to do it at the upper rests also but decided that I liked the look of one better, and it gave more room to put taller objects.
Now I'm really wishing I had bought one more for the other side of the bed! Maybe...just maybe there will still be one left :) ...a girl can always hope lol
And since today is the first Wednesday of the month, that means it's Repurpose, Recycle, Reuse Day with these sweet girls! Go and check out their blogs and give them some love :)

This is such an awesome use for a bar stool! Especially love how you made another shelf with rope - so smart!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea and so simple that I may be able to pull this off. Thank you for sharing!!
ReplyDeleteLove it! You HAVE to go back and get another one:) Great idea with the ropes, I never thought of doing that!

Fabulous idea to add the string. The extra shelf takes if from barstool to nightstand and looks great! Pinning!
