Anyway, today is day 11 of our 12 Days of Christmas Crafts series! Today I'm showing you a super, simple cute ornament only involving one thing: Hot Glue.
I was planning on doing something like this with some school glue, but then I didn't have enough, so I went to the next best thing. It was fun trying to find what surface this stuck to and didn't stick to. Then I played around with some non-stick spray, and that was the winner!
So, I grabbed a plate, sprayed some non-stick spray onto it and then took a paper towel and wiped it off a little bit. I still left enough of the spray though so it would work, I just didn't want a ton of yellow crap all over my snowflake :) For the snowflake shape itself, I just went with all straight lines making it easy.
Once it cooled down, I carefully pulled it off the plate. I then took some scissors and cleaned it up a bit.
You can leave it just like this...
Or add some glitter! I brushed on some school glue onto the snowflake, and then sprinkled on some glitter to give it a frosted look.
This twinkles in the light so well. I love how it turned out! Quickest, easiest, and cheapest ornament ever....well, at least in this series :)
