My Fall Shelves -It's All About Pumpkins!

I love how last year I hardly decorated for Fall. I was in complete denial. This year, I'm fully embracing it! It's finally getting colder around here with a few thunderstorms lining up. So, I'm ready to jump headfirst and get fully immersed in everything Fall and pumpkins. And I'm not joking on the pumpkin side...

 On a whim, I decided I wanted to do something with my shelves for Fall. I haven't changed these shelves out since I built them over 4 or 5 years ago. Well, maybe once, but it changed right back. A few items come and a few go but for the most part, the items on the shelves have stayed the same. So, taking everything off was like a breath of fresh air. And then adding these pumpkins made it even better. I wouldn't say the shelves felt cluttered, but after going so simple on the pumpkins (even though there's a lot), I feel like the previous shelves had a lot going on.

To break up the neutral, I decided to add in a purple mum. I'm still debating whether or not to add a few to the shelves themselves...

 The middle pumpkins are from Michaels, and the smaller pumpkins are a mixture of gourds and pumpkins from Walmart and Michaels all painted white. It took a ton of coats on some of these, but it was well worth it in the end. All though the previous decor was still neutral, these pumpkins really brighten up this corner.

 I'm excited to bring new life to these shelves and the possibilities I now have for Halloween and Christmas!
