A couple of my favorite purchases the past month was this lantern from Gordmans (and the black one in my entry). They have kind of been just hanging out on the floor and I couldn't figure out what to do with them...until Halloween started! They are the perfect place skulls :)
I changed out a few of my pillows too. The black striped ones are from Ikea along with the white long one with buttons...oh and the blanket. The spotted one was from Target last year, and the black/grey one is from Amazon.
I just did a few changes with my mantel and shelves compared to my Fall tour.
I placed the owl on the mantel and a flight of bats along the wall.
I also threw some bones into our firewood.
As for this corner, I just switched out the pillow and added a creepy skeleton hand.
Pillow from Ikea, hand from Michaels.
Here's the whole view of this room from this angle. The rug is from Amazon.
And from this side. I really love this rug and how it transformed this space. I totally wasn't thinking of Halloween when I bought it, but it totally works :)
I bought these bats last year from the dollar store and couldn't figure out where to put them, until I remembered my curly willow branches.
I replaced one of my pumpkins in the centerpiece with this skull and hands.
And of course, another tattered clothe draped on this chair also.
Every time I look at pictures of my table, I realize how bad I need to refinish it! It's been so battered and bruised over the years.
I did this same thing last year in our entry way...but I just love it for the little ones.
This year I also added a few little lurking owls on top of a few doors. And here's the other lantern and skull.
This entryway has been the best for decorating ever since I added the board and batten last year. Before that, it was never touched. Best decision ever!
Hope you all have a great and safe Halloween!
Pin for later!
