Painting furniture is an inexpensive way to update your space...and it's super rewarding! I love looking around finding old things to paint. You can get some amazing deals on Facebook groups or marketplace, the thrift store or your local classifieds. My favorite things to paint are dressers, nightstands, and hutches. Chairs are super affordable to do also. The majority of the furniture in my house is from one of those sources if not built by hand. I have very few things that I bought new. Doing it this way saves so much money and you can easily get the look you want.
There are many ways to paint furniture from normal wall paint to chalk paint to enamels. I've done my fair share of all of these! Each way has it's own benefit. Here's a list of my favorite ways on how to paint furniture.

When you decide to update a piece, remember that the quality of the roller and the brush is a must for a great finish! Choose the highest quality to eliminate brush strokes. Also, the paint matters along with if you sand or don't sand etc. All of these tutorials have the steps necessary :) Now I'm off to find my next project to paint!
I have so many projects happening right now....can't wait to share them all with you! To follow all that is going on behind the scenes, be sure to follow my social media :)
