#1 The top one on my list is money...probably the easiest too.
I've been doing this for my children since they could find the eggs and understood money. I put pennies all the way to bills. The higher the bill, the harder it is to find. To keep it fair, I have also chose to do the same amount for each kid. I put their initial on an egg to let the other kids know it's not theirs. I've also done color coded eggs in the past. One kid would get one color, the other a different one. This works well if you have both girls and boys with the list below. Let one color be a free for all. I usually do all the coins in the free for all easter egg color. But, of course, it's up to you! I grew up being SOL most of the time with the money eggs because my brothers always found the hard to reach eggs that had the $20 bills in them :)
Now for the other ideas! I've included pictures below from popular stores I visited to give you some ideas. Then at the bottom of the pictures are full on lists for boys, girls, and more neutral themed easter egg stuffer ideas. Tell me in the comments what's your favorite thing to add to easter eggs!
Easter Egg Stuff Ideas Hobby Lobby:
Although at most craft type stores, you'll be able to find some non-candy things that can be stuffed into an easter egg, it's important to go beyond the seasonal decor and just hit the rest of the store!
Hobby Lobby had some cute Easter socks that you can roll pretty easily into a bigger egg or try to stuff into a small one!
These squeesh things are my kids favorites! I found these big ones in Hobby Lobby, but you can also find a pack of two smaller ones at Dollar Tree.
There were some cute ideas in the summer area as well like these finger lights.
How cute are these Stanley straw toppers?
Make sure to hit the party favor aisle to get some great stuffers at all of these stores!
If your kids are into a certain craft, add some fun things related to the craft in the eggs like jewelry supplies.
If your kids are into patches, that would be a good idea to add some cute ones into an egg.
I thought these would be fun! Add one heart into each egg. Then when they get them all, it becomes a cool colored pencil!
